ARBUCKLE — November 2, 2026. Colusa County Free Library’s adult literacy program offers one-on-one help with reading, writing, technology, basic mathematics and financial literacy. The county says digital literacy appointments can take place at the Arbuckle branch.
What tutoring covers
The library describes individualized, confidential tutoring by trained volunteers, including everyday goals such as preparing for a driver’s test or completing a job application. Staff can also help adults learn how to use laptops, tablets and online research tools.
How Arbuckle residents apply
The county invites adults to fill out a learner application at any branch or contact its literacy coordinator at 530-458-0373. The program says it can schedule digital-literacy appointments in Arbuckle as well as other library branches, so ask directly about session availability rather than arriving expecting a drop-in class.
The service is distinct from a paid course
The county advertises the adult literacy assistance as free. The exact class or appointment schedule may vary; accessibility requests and language support should be discussed with the coordinator. The local branch is listed at 610 King Street.
